Albany State University President Marion Ross Fedrick, Ph.D., was named one of the ten most dominant HBCU (historically black colleges and universities) leaders in the nation.

The HBCU Campaign Fund (HCF) is a non profit that advocates for higher education within minority serving college institutions.

According to HCF's President & CEO, Demetrius Johnson Jr., winners were determined to be leaders who have “proven their responsibilities for shaping policies, changing perspectives, and making decisions that affect millions of individuals in the higher education space, and the daily needs of what an HBCU or Minority-Serving Institutions contributes.”
