Shani Hosten

Shani Hosten is Vice President-Multicultural Leadership for African American/Black Strategy & Outreach at AARP. Shani serves as the national voice for AARP’s engagement with African American/Black communities through partnerships with multicultural organizations to drive AARP’s social impact. She develops innovative strategies and AARP offerings that promote brand awareness and community engagement. Shani joined AARP in January 2016, bringing with her more than 20 years of sales and strategic marketing experience in the pharmaceutical, hospital and consumer packaged goods industries. A graduate of Hampton University and Columbia University Business School, Shani is also a member of the Reston (VA) Chapter of the Links Incorporated, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated and several other professional and civic organizations.
